$110m in debt? Guess I’m not doing so bad!
It was not that hard to figure out...

If that is the case then perhaps they should not have floated its a done deal to so many "sources".

But guys here know people and it’s DONE, they even told the entire FLW staff....
edit: Mark beat me too it, while I was reading the article.
Have no way of knowing for sure but tends to be most of the "unnamed" sources are the people who are not the "higher ups". Look at all the different sports with trades and coaches being fired. Always make it out before an "official" announcement. With social media it does not take long for things to go nationwide.

Wow.... I'm way more wealthy than Irwin Jacobs was. $110 million in debt! Things and people aren't always what they seem.
Delays in transactions during this type of situation is very normal. Even the 110m debt isn't that unusual. I found an article that said he currently owned like 25 companies. I am sure some small and some not so small, but I bet the 110m is including all the company debt. Who knows the assets might be 200m or maybe 20m.
Just because he owed 110 million doesn’t mean he was broke.

Keepem' coming (excuses) this is great... Dan
My post from 8-10-19: "Boyd is waiting for FLW to declare bankruptcy, then BPT can get them really cheap." Still think this will be the case.
If the FLW deal does not happen, so what? It’ll have zero impact on 2020. The primary need for MLF/BPT is setting up a feeder and re-qualifying league. If MLF can pull off what they did in 2019, I see setting up such a league organically as achievable and in time for the new BPT qualifiers to begin in 2022.
I drove by the FLW HQ twice yesterday. I should have stopped in and asked the receptionist.
