I fished Tenkiller a lot back in the late 80s, very tough this time of year. I would run up the river and throw a small spinner bait.
Zaldain is hands down the best offshore fisherman on the elites. His ability to target pelagic fish is unreal. Very good deep structure fisherman as well.
He is having a good year. It seems like if he just had a few things break right for him. He would have a couple wins already

In 2016 he ended the year 7th in Elite AOY points and in 2018 he ended 20th. He is in 2nd right now in AOY just a couple of points out of the lead.
To my original point he has been 20th or better for 3 out of 4 years and 2 of those years well inside the Top 10. That is against the old guard and the new guys. I call that pretty stout.
