Lowrance 9 elite ti2 Downscan questions

My lowrance elite ti2 is not showing where I can change between 455kHz and 800kHz on my downscan. I have the Active Imaging 3-in-1 transducer with this unit. Is this normal that I can’t change my frequency on my downscan?

The key is optimum placement and adjustment of the transducer and boatspeed that matches scrollspeed. With the transducer ideally placed all filters can be turned off, and that just leaves you with adjusting contrast.

the 3n1 is very capable of quality downscans if you get the settings just right.

that image was caught back in June and Ive since sold the unit, and I use multiple brands at any time, so my memory of the settings are lacking. sorry about that.

but I do agree with Team....a good transducer install, and a slower boat speed (2-4mph) are a good start. Try scanning with the nose of the boat up and then down and see which one makes a nicer image. Then re-adjust the transducer to match that angle. Also look at your arches of fish on 2D to see if your angle is right.

Go thru the different color palettes too, and adjust contrast of each.

Be sure to record and then replay it back at home and play with the settings.
