Well I finally upgraded my old Birds to new Birds. The new mega transducers are large enough that a small child could water ski on them!
Joking aside, what is the best way to mount these? I will have one on the trolling motor and one on my jack plate. I had my previous transducers mounted with the Transducer Shield and Saver and they worked like a charm. Is this still the best option? Are there better options? Appreciate the assistance!

TS&S is still be best mount system. The MEGA transducer mounts are more costly though than the older styles.

Stock HB trolling motor mount works well for me and is MUCH cheaper.
The price of the TS&S was one reason why I was looking for alternatives. I will probably end up going with them when I do the install. Love having new toys!
