Do I tell her or not

I found this in the basement yesterday,
    snake.jpg

I don't know where the owner of this is but I assume he is still
in the basement somewhere. So the question I have is do I tell her what I found.
I'm thinking if I tell her I'm going to be doing all the laundry form now on. I don't
need any more honey do's she gives me enough things to do that cuts into my fishing already.
    so what do you'll think?

No, that’s not a good idea. You will have to find that snake in which you never will. Just get the shed skin out and don’t whisper a word.

Do you have poisonous snakes in your area? If so, tell her...if not, don't, but look for it.

Least that's what I would do.

Go ahead tell her, when you have to do the laundry, put bleach in a load of her color wash......problem solved.

Make a pros and cons list. If you can come up with just one pro then consider telling her.

Aw leave him alone. At least you won't have to worry about mice.

If it's going to bother her then don't tell her.

Probably just a rat or king snake. Chances are the snake already left the same way it came in. For peace of mind, I would look under all shelves, appliances, and above on any piping. Yes, I would tell her. I go thru this exercise once a year in our horse barn because the wife keeps storing hay on the backside of the storage room. Hay draws in field mice, they attract snakes.

I found one in my yard this weekend while mowing. Still haven't told her about it. If it where in my house, she would probably know about it because I may get out the flame thrower.

I'm surprised that no one has told you to burn the house down yet.

My wife would want me to catch it and free it outside. She won't even kill a spider in the house. If its poisonous I would make she knows.

Many years ago my son came home from school and found a small garter snake in the kitchen. No idea how it got in. My wife has lived a happy life not knowing that there is a way for a snake to get into her kitchen.
    Don't worry Ma'am....

If you do tell her make sure to point out it is non-poisonous, on the shed you see how the scales form a line in the middle past the anal opening (that means it is non-poisonous)

Tough call. But if she ever finds out you didn’t tell her God help you! We had two in the yard Sunday. One was in the pool while my wife was swimming. She freaked out and the neighbors thought she was being beaten! Now she won’t go near the pool until I inspect every inch of it. The second snake was resting against the garage door.

You can bet one thing. He is just a tad bigger than that skin now.

Snake skins dont bite, I would keep it under your hat. If you had the chance I would give it a good looking for, and then move on, chances are it left the same way it arrived. seal up any and all penetration where it could have gotten in at.
