Coming out of a Bass Cat Jaguar looking at a 921 PHX
What can I expect to be different? How quick will the 921 get on plane? What 4 blade prop pitch do you recommend? What is a rough top end number??

The Kairos Lures Guy
921 pro xp with SHO a 3.5 sec holeshot. I run a 26p Bravo 1 XS that has touched the rev limiter a time or two at 6180 rpms. Average top end is 73.5 loaded heavy with full gas, gear for 2, 10' blades, 4 agm's.
I often run close to 75 with same load but depends on driver & setup. Actually hit 77.9 twice with that same load and have no clue as to why.

I have a 2017 921PHX with a 250 G2. Running a 26 Raker 3 blade. Tried the 4 blade but didn't like it. Hole shot under 2 seconds, Top end 72 any day, have hit 75 running downstream on the St Lawrence a couple of times. Handles rough water incredibly well. Would buy another in a heartbeat.

I have a 2017 21 PHX with a 250 sho. running a 26 Bravo 1 4- blade , 2 power poles, dual console, 4-12" electronics atlas jack plate and it runs 74-75 by myself with a tx load. It took me a while to learn how to drive this beast after coming from a 06 Basscat puma! You have to run the jackplate( 17) high and very little trim for best performance. The best I have seen with a big partner is 72 with a tx load. The boat came with a yamaha 25 pitch 3 blade T-2 but it didn't handle well, chine walked and the holeshot was really bad. The Bravo 1 4-blade is a game changer. I run a 26 in the summer and a 27 in the cooler months. I live in south florida and it is really hot and humid down here. I owned a 99 jag and an 06 puma and this boat is much more fishable with its huge front deck and the performance and rough water ride is second to none!!! I would buy another one in a heartbeat! The 921 pro has a little faster hull.
