All of his documentaries are great. His documentaries about The West and The Civil War are fantastic if you’re a fan of history or storytelling.

It was pretty cool seeing my cousin playing the piano for the Jordanaires. I miss ol Faron Young. I got to know him back in the 80’s and I had no idea back then how cool he really was. I remember that he was fun to hang out with. He always had a glass of something in his hand. I’m hoping they show how instrumental Cowboy Jack Clement is to country music. Go to the country music hall of fame website and look at the poets and prophets videos and you’ll see more in depth history by hearing straight from the songwriters all the people and the hits and how they changed country music with Don Williams and Waylon Jennings. I’m a country music history nut. There’s just so much you can cram into these shows. Not enough time for all of it. Ken Burns does a pretty good job.

I’ll watch anything Ken Burns does. This series has been excellent so far. As always I learn a lot.

Bill Monroe vs. Ralph Stanley vs. Flatt & Scruggs. Good stuff. I thought the Patsy Cline story was really good.

All of his documentaries are excellent. I've watched the ones on Jazz and WWII twice. Can't wait to see the new C & W one. I saw Burns on Morning Joe talking about it....looks good. I'll probably binge watch it on the Apple TV app.
    Don't worry Ma'am....
    I'm only here for the
    Bass.
