    Ranger RT198p question

hey guys, I am looking at a 2018 RT198p and was wondering if what I am seeing posted is true that it will void warranty if you install a jack plate and power poles if not installed at the factory?

Usually they say "may" void your warranty. They're usually non-committed with their wording either direction.

Myself personally im paying for it im not gonna have them tell me what i can and cannot do to my boat. That boat can be optioned out with a 6” jp so if you installed that and poles within specs that it could be optioned as i would go for it myself.

Here is what I did with my RT 198 P. I bought the boat for FISHING! I installed a jackplate, two talons, and upgraded to a 36V trolling motor. I fish shallow water and need the jackplate to get into and out of many areas, use the Talons all the time and had to get a more powerful trolling motor for the tide and river conditions.
Can't really see, but I did install a 4" Atlas Jack plate.
