    Johnson GT 175 on a ranger 481V

I recently got a ranger 481V with a Johnson GT 175 on it. It came with a 14.2x23 aluminum prop on it. It also came with at 14.75x21 stainless raker. I tested a 14.75x24 raker the other day that was my buddies and I’m not getting the rpms that I think I should out of it. It only turns about 5000 and runs 50 mph. What would y’all recommend me trying on it. I also bought a Jackplate to raise the motor up a little to help out.

I would get the jack plate installed, hang the 24 pitch Raker and then let the prop testing begin.(Rakers I believe are even number pitch) That GT175 should push that hull 60 mph and more easy.
