you know I honestly used to feel this way. Hate for people to lose their life making a stupid decision. But as time goes on I'm so tired of this shit I'm happy they're dead as it was by far the better outcome compared to paying for these turds to rot in prison for 30 years.

my first thought reading the article is I wonder if the house being robbed was a known drug house/drug dealer home....just a lot of suspicious stuff..doesn't pass the sniff test to me

Very suspicious, most likely they were just confused and thought it was Halloween. They were just looking for candy. They probably brought a real gun by mistake, the teens meant to bring a toy gun trick or treating.

Only on BBC are masked armed robbers the victims.

Another article mentioned an interview with one of the deceased's relatives where she said "There are a lot of unanswered questions, like what were those people doing in their front yard at 4 am...?" Really?

The question never occurred to them of “ what were teenagers doing out at 4 am” .. late night game of cops and robbers ??

Sounds like a lot more to the story was going on. Yeah I know, they were such good boys. The point now is there are 3 minors out at night with firearms, that wont be hurting any other citizens. Guy did good and saved the tax payers a lot of money and some families a lot of grief.

I never said that the robbers where victims...but lets use our brains a little....what kind of "home" has 3 people out hanging in the yard on a Sunday/Monday morning at 4:30 am...and instant access to significant firepower...I doubt those 3 teenagers went there looking to boast a TV but who knows

One of the hazards of home invasion. It's too bad some had to die but they made a decision and lost. Glad the homeowner is safe.

Local TV site had an interview posted where a neighbor said that the homeowner was a truck driver and his elderly mother lived there, and he would stay there occasionally, and happened to be there that night. He and another neighbor both said it's a quiet neighborhood and very strange scenario to have something like this happen. Obviously more info needs to come out but based on this, leans toward an attempted home invasion versus other scenarios

Has there been any more info on what the homeowner used? All I saw was that a neighbor heard shots and the "heard an assault rifle"... Haven't seen any official report on what the defender used.

Thats in the neighborhood I grew up in , but there was an incident about 30 years ago in Tucker Ga. where a gun store owner was sleeping in the back of store due to recent break-ins and he was woken by a car driven through his door front by 5 burglars he shot and killed all 5 with a 20 shot clip , cops said he hit target 19 times .

Thanks to the media, every rifle is an assault rifle now.....and probably any gunshot they hear too for that matter.......as most don't know how shots from different types of weapons sound
