Jack Plate Trim Switch on tilt steering

    All,

I am having a new ranger boat rigged at a new dealer. They are telling me that they can't put a jack plate blinker trim switch on a ranger with tilt steering and would have to install the black 2 button switch on the dash or to the side.

Is this true? Has anyone found a work around for this?

    Thanks

I’ve had three Rangers with tilt wheel and trim at the wheel,so there is a way. Mine were rigged at the factory though.

We have a Skeeter in the shop right now with tilt steering. Taking the blinker trim switch off and installing a double blinker to activate the Atlas JP we just installed. It will have JP on one side and trim on the other. The tilt steering isn't unique to Ranger.
