might not show correct tire if it hasn't been calibrated--check all the tires including the spare--if tires are rotated on a gm and not relearned, it doesn't know what tire is where.

I'm guessing bad sensor. Low tire pressure and adding air doesn't require a re learn.

Thanks for all the possible solutions. My wife got home and when I checked the pressure in all the tires, the passenger rear , not the passenger front was low. Aired it up, started the car and the warning disappeared. Thanks again for all the info..Here's a cold one on me

Tire positions were not relearned at the last tire rotation

My Other Half's 2011 Ford Escape started showing low tire a couple months ago if any tire got to 30 PSI. Pump them to 32 it goes off for a while. I'd rather it went on at like 27-28. Any way to change that?

GM's need to have the electronic TPM scanner tool to reset / relearn the tire position. I know with Ford, depending on the year, they will either reset themselves or you have to press the hazard switch a few times then lower the pressure in a certain order to have them relearn their position.
Also don't forget the spare, if you have one.

Hey good idea!!! I didn't know spares had TPS. Actually I don't know if she has a spare, if it's a donut they run at 70 PSI or so.

It can be done without a scan tool. It's activated using the key fob remote, and series of horn beeps as you press each valve stem tells you it's completed.
