What is the best Grease to use when putting in the new Impeller?
I've heard different opinions, even Vasoline is ok to use.

Just anything to lube it when it first fires off. Once it get water in there, you're good.
I use liquid soap
Lake&Bay Boca
SHO
Dish soap
Dish soap works the best. Makes spinning the impeller down into the housing super easy.

I tackled the job this morning and everything went perfect. New Impeller,Gear Lube.Overall it's an easy job, took me 1hr 35 min from start to finish. Fired the boat up and good water pressure.Happy to save a few hundred $'s doing it myself.
