Interference - just showed its ugly head

I have a Helix 10 G1 on the bow, a Helix 10 Mega G2 on the dash. I also have a Ultrex 36v and a 360 bow mount. This weekend I went out and found that my ultrex now causes the depth reading and 2 sonar to go crazy. I did not have this before. How can I resolve this?

So what has changed?

Damaged transducer cable?
Water in the trolling motor?
Bent trolling motor prop shaft?
Damaged/out of balance prop?
High use of the motor wearing out the motor brushes?

I wish I could say it is the last one but I really have not used it much this season. No damage, I have not hit anything cables are clean and run through a mesh protector, everything is like new condition.

Have you done any organizing of cables? reroute or put on some cable ties. Something has changed if you are doing the exact things as before there would be no change in interference. Bob

Are you talking about that little 3a fuse or is that a fuse in that larger wire as well?

Turn TM on high and hit button, does it do all above listed

When mine was blown I only remember him changing one in the head. He took off the cover and it was in the wiring.

I am having intereference with mine too. I added the Ferrite rings and it is came back. I sent Humminbird a video via text. The Tech department is trying to form some sort of fix. I'm running a motorguide tour 82lb thrust.

You may have to get your motor rebuilt. I had two Motor Guide Tours before the Ultrex.
It took several remedies to fix mine and a friend with Lowrance units got his rebuilt to lessen the RFI.

Thanks, I replaced that fuse but no difference on the interference. I have now changed the external transducer cable to run along my Ultrex bracket to see if that makes a difference. I'm still curious as to why when I turn off the sonar on the Helix 12 and then select the sonar(us2) on the Helix 7 I get interference on my 360.
