    Question 2001 mercury efi OT181679

    Alarm went off the other day 3 short beeps pause then again. Water pump inpeller replaced in May plus thermostats. Any ideas thanks for any help will be appreciated

    Possibly water in fuel/water separator? Overheat is a continuous beep, Check oil level in tank on motor. Also check battery voltage. Not sure exactly what that beep could mean but these are some of the common cause of alarms.

    Please check your serial number- 0T181679 is not an EFI engine.
