    Fun time on the GMR!

Saturday the wife, the dog, and I had an awesome day fishing the a local river in our jet drive boat. We caught about a dozen smallmouth with many over #2's and the biggest #4.65. This was the first time we hit this stretch of the river but it won't be the last! We stopped to play on a gravel bar with Sam (the dog) to let him swim a little. I also got to test my driving ability in the jet drive. I'll get that video together later this week. Only sad part was Sarah lost one at the boat that might have beaten her PB. I was trying to grab it at the boat but the fish was still hot, it made a hard dive under the boat and pulled free from the CB. I felt so bad that I missed grabbing the smallmouth by belly on the only chance I had. I was guessing the fish was close to #4's and Sarah's PB is 3.8.

Nice,,,I went out on the GMR sun afternoon and it was loaded with people fishing and 1 idiot in a ski boat pulling skiers in 3 foot of water going in circles and then blasting up and down the stretch between the WC ramp and River road ramp. Nearly capsized some kayakers,,,packed up and left. Going out this afternoon.

Well, you should have fun hating them this year...a race for the number one draft pick with the Bengals...guess it does not matter since the Steelers traded their 2020 first round pick yesteraday...
