All Military personnel are cordially invited to attend the 30th Annual DOD Military Team Bass Fishing Tournament to represent your branch of service. One team will earn the bragging rights for being the best military bass fishing team in the country. This prestigious honor will be decided the week of May 3 through May 8, 2020, on Wheeler Lake, Decatur, AL.
The tournament is open to active duty Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and Coast Guard, their dependents ages 16 and over having a Military ID (dependents under the age of 18 must fish with a parentor guardian), National guard, Reservists, DoD Civilians, DoD contractors, former military holding a DD214 and retired military personnel. All branches of our military are expected to attend.
Eligibility of family members holding a valid Military ID card will also be eligible to compete with an authorized DOD member.
Through the operation of the annual Military Team Bass Tournament, American Bass Anglers endeavors to continue supporting all branches of the Military and Department of Defense personnel.
We understand Permissive TDY/leave is at the discretion and approval of individual Commanders, and we respectfully request favorable consideration be given to all requests.
