    Jack Plate and Boat Cover

    I am picking up an Atlas 6" plate, will this cause issues with my factory cover not fitting? It seems as if there is some room at the bow to pull the cover back.
    I am running a Charger 195 with the factory Charger cover.

    well if the cover is short. There are cover makers ( like Dean"S) that can add in a small section by the splashwell on the cover. Cover on my 496--- I opted to have the outboard cover made separately

    That was going to be my suggestion - alter the cover to have the built-in motor cover portion removed. Any good canvas shop could do that easily.
