    2000 Triton TR20 Outboard Motor shaft length?

    I have a chance to replace my Optimax 200 outboard on my boat with a 2017 Suzuki 225 4 stroke with a 25 inch shaft. I live in Illinois but keep my boat in a Marina on Truman lake in Missouri about 5 hours from my home so I am not able to measure the shaft length on my current Optimax to see if it’s the same length.
    Can anyone on here tell me if 25 inch is standard for bass boats?
    I know they make them in 20 inch also?

    20" is the norm on a bass boat. Post your Mercury serial number on the Mercury forum and someone can tell you what it is.
