    bravo and mercury 4 stroke

    has any one ran a bravo with new mercury 4 stroke...

    I run a bravo 1 xs 25p on a Merc 4 250 XS. The boat is a 20 PHX. Hole shot and mid range is really good but give up a MPH or 2 on the top. I do not have any plugs in the prop and it does not blow out which really surprised me. It will run 72 MPH all over the lake fully loaded live wells full and it has been really hot for the 2 months I have had the boat.

    how many rpm's can you turn the prop? is it factory or have you had it worked? what size jack plate? thanks so much for your info

    Ran a 32 bravo fs and now run a 31 max5 st. I don't like bravos at all. They have a very high slip percentage,
