    Removing Ultrex from mount--Help

I am taking my Utrex in for repairs and need to get it off the boat. Figured I would just pull it out of the mount. Easier said than done. I have removed the black 1/4 Allen head screw from the top of the mount and have deployed the trolling motor so that I would be as if it were in the water. I figured the Ultrex would just slide off at this point. It is as tight as a jug. I have rapped it a few times with a rubber mallet, but it isn't budging. Am I missing another bolt? And advice?

Do not release bracket with motor gone unless you tie down bracket.......lift spring is strong. You can break stuff including yourself if to close. Don't ask how me dummy knows!!

Very important. Almost broke a thumb this way thinking it was as weak as my Fortrex one was. It was not!
