    Ranger Trail brakes

A couple of weeks ago I made the mistake of pulling my trailer approximately 13 miles with the hand brake applied. Had to make a quick stop this morning and I could tell that my trailer brakes were not doing what they are supposed to do. I tested it later by disconnecting the plug and backing uphill, which it did with no problem at all. Is there anyway to adjust the brakes, or do I need to replace the pads?

The ebrake only activates the rear calipers. You should be able to look in through the rim and see how much pad is left. To be sure take those two back wheels off and look at the pads.

If the brakes got hot enough to damage the brake pads you should also flush the brake system and inspect the caliper seals for damage. The brake pads may not show a lot of wear but can be heat damaged and should be replaced.
