Compatible Gearcase

Hey Guys,

My friend just had his lower unit go bad on a 1989 Johnson v6 200hp motor. What all gearcases will work with his. I can't read the model number or serial number for his motor completely. Model no starts with J200GT.....

1986-1991 200/225 will plug and play.

'79 thru early '90, and then with a driveshaft change, all the way to the G2's, which is a different design altogether.
