    wiring question

So ranger has a battery cut off switch. I see charger wires on B+ post as well as engine (not crank) that I assume goes to engine computer, and also another wire to the front of boat.

I notice a current draw with my current clamp

Is there any harm running engine computer off switch as well as front?

Is the pump typically wired after the switch or directly to the battery ?

Also the alt (40A fuse wire) is wired direct as well. Any downside wiring this to the switch?

Just want a true cut off switch with minimal parasitic draw

    Thanks

Everything electric on a boat should go through as switch, no exeptions what so ever.

Some things, like your pump, you might want to have on its own sitch and not by the main cut off (switch) that kills everything in the boat. (Personally I have two pumps, one automatic with its own switch and one automatic with manual override going through the main switch. But I operate a lot on big open water and with the pump beeing the only thing keeping me alive if shit happens, I want at least two of those. :)
