And the majority of the offenders are those driving ‘full diaper’ trucks.

I really hate to flash my lights at some one because I think they have their bright lights on, but I'm gonna start. Sometimes I could wear sunglasses at night because the lights are so bright. I understand needing good lights at night but do we really need to see a mile down the road?

We have a guy with a truck in this town, that if you meet him at night, we can't see a thing and almost have to stop in the road to be safe.

Seems like something that needs to be addressed at some point. I don't enjoy being blinded for 10 seconds.

    As fast as most drive....yes.

Lots of newer vehicles, ford trucks in particular, have super bright lights.

About the only time I get flashed is when I'm towing because it squats the truck just enough. You can tell on most vehicles if the brights are on or not by looking. The inner headlights are the brights. Outers are dims. When someone flashes me when I'm running my dims I flash em back so they can see how bright they really get.

Even the factory lights are bright. Then add in the ones that “ level” their trucks and are too Daymn stupid to re-adjust the headlights.

There is a clown I see on my way to work every now and then with a light bar on his car's bumper. He has it on all of the time and it is blinding and should only be on with high beams or angle it down some. I turn on my high beams when I see him. I don't get the blinding auxiliary lights on with low beams in town. Maybe because I'm 58!!

Anytime you hook the trailer up the front end will raise enough to fool some people about high beams. I make sure to lower my headlights from the dash switch when towing; so far, so good.

Part of the problem is that the young guys in an effort to look cool "upgrade" their stock reflector halogen lights to HID light kits not realizing that they need to swap out the OEM reflector housing for a projector style one that focuses the beam properly. Otherwise they are just causing insane glare for oncoming drivers. Maybe if the police would start enforcing these illegal headlight mods, writing tickets to the a-holes that are using their light bars on the roads...

    Someone say Jennifer Aniston?

We should all mount Q beam spotlights and use them when approaching vehicles like that. Or barge spotlight and give the oncoming driver a good sunburn.
