    merc 200 efi to 225 pro xs 2 stroke

    all things being equal, if i was to replace a 1998 200 efi with a new 225 pro xs 2 stroke, would the extra weight of the pro xs(100lbs) negate a possible increase in speed?thanks

    You will see a difference, what boat is is on? Your 200 is a small block and the XS is a big block, alot more torque.
