    Decisions, Decisions

I'm throwing around the idea of ordering a new boat. I fish mostly smaller waters with the ocasional trip to sturgeon bay. I'm looking at a 19trx with a 225 proXs 4 stroke or a 20trx with a 250 proXs 4 stroke. The specs are close in regards to weight and length. Which boat would be faster?

Either would be a great choice. The 20TRX will be faster.

I have a 2015 19XS with a 225. It handles great and I love the boat. Looking back, I probably would have ordered the 20XS with a 250. Although, I would have bought it for the bigger size and not so much for the extra speed. I almost never run full throttle but I don’t fish tournaments anymore. The cost difference between the 19XS & 20XS wasn’t that much but I’m very tight so I didn’t want to spend the extra money. The irony is my wife was trying to talk me into the 20XS. If the cost difference isn’t an issue, I would go with the 20 TRX. However, I don’t think you could go wrong with either choice.
