    Monroe

Not alot of Monroe chatter on here lately. How did it come out of the flood this year? Heard the grass was gone. Man it was just getting right too.

Now that the USA Bassin is over can we talk about Monroe haha. Went riding on the fast side yesterday and didn't see as many boats as i would have thought til midday. Guess those guys were on plan B. We struggled early as well but found some good ones on off shore structure with about an hour to go. Ended up winning my little club tourny with 15 pounds. What did it take to win the big tourny?

Which is good considering all the pressure the last two weeks. There were two small club tournaments Saturday, and one Sunday as well. I didn't fish Sunday, but Saturday was a good day for me out on the main lake

The release area should be well stocked for tournaments this weekend.

439 keepers weighed in. Unfortunately we only had 4 of them and they weren't big lol. There were 5 boats on every spot I wanted to hit but that happens when your number isn't called till 8:15

They've all been caught and released so many times, they know the way home. The ones that don't just stay at the ramp and keep getting caught and released over and over again all summer.

Went out today, starting at first light. Only have fished Monroe a few times. Trying to get to know it better. It was a bit nippy. Water temp at the end day was 71 on the main lake. Caught a lot, just need to figure out the big ones.

18 lbs won on Saturday, they're shallow, have been for a month. Find the shad schools and the bass are with em.

I've fished every weekend for a month and several times last week. Fish have been deep too....been catching them on big worms. Shallow bite has been good....but it has definitely slowed down with the real cold nights. I'm betting the overall weights were not as good as they were in August and September.
