Due to a broken livewell intake pipe and Rangers ridiculous design we weren't able to go. We obviously missed a good weekend. Chad and Billy are on a roll right now winning 3 in a row. Jason and Derek had a great bag for 2nd place , nice job Jason. Talked to some guys Sunday night that fished it, had a limit and culled a few times but never got the better fish. Lots of fish caught again.

Btw, congrats to your son, that's a good one.

We went Sunday and had a blast. Probably caught 15-20 fish had about 8 keepers. Biggest 5 probably went 14-15 pounds.

I hate working on a Ranger livewell. Horrible valve design and in a crappy spot.

Lots of ponds, back waters, and a 4 acre lake here, iced over. It should be gone if it warms up as it’s super thin ice.

Water was 44 degrees yesterday. Hopefully it will stabilize for a few weeks.

Big bags weighed in again yesterday in the USA Bassin on Monroe. 1st place was Remington and Remington with 22.5 lbs, second place was Chad and Billy with 22.2 lbs. I think big bass was a 7+. The cold weather didn't slow the big bite down at all.

The bite slowed a bit. Winner on Sunday only had 18 something. Second was 17.3, third 16.6. Big fish was 5.82. I think there were 8 or 10 boats and about around 5-6 limits.

Thanks, Lee. It was a great day. Anytime you can catch 10 keepers in a day is a lot of fun.
