    Mercmonitor question for Don

    Don im trying to get everything together for the new boat so when it finally gets here i can get stuff installed and the dealer is going to run some of my accessorie cables and wires for me. I dont have a serial number yet for the new engine is there any way to order my level 1 mercmonitor kit without the serial? Ordered a 200 pro xs v8. Thanks!

    Yes- drop Rhonda an email (and be sure she knows you have a 200 ProXS V8 coming, which requires a "modified cable").

    Great thanks. I got the pricing list from Rhonda. To read oil pressure on this motor ill need the oil harness and ill also need the water pressure sendor correct?

    Roy- There is no such thing as an "oil harness" for 4-stroke V6/V8 Products.

    Oil Pressure is a standard feature on these engines.

    Water Pressure does require an optional sensor (which is installed in the STB side cylinder head, in place of the existing "Legris" fitting and gray (analog) water pressure tubing).

    If you wish to use BOTH Digital and Analog Water Pressure, see the FAQ for an "Alternative Rigging Method".
