    Squeaking Stratos trailer

I've got a 2003 Stratos 200 with a tandem axle trailer. I bought it about a year ago. Since I've bought it, the trailer has squeaked a lot. This past week, I've had my boat in the water, camping, and I noticed I have some play in my suspension in my trailer.

When I got, I started pulling it apart, and was pretty amazed at what I've found.

The equalizer was completely shot. Had close to 1/2" of play. Every leaf bushing was completely warn through, to the point it was eating the bolts.

I ordered everything, new leafs, bushings, shackles, and bolts/nuts from trailer parts superstore. Hopefully I'll have everything back together next week.

Just a psa out there, is your trailer is really squeaky, check it out. I'm surprised mine didn't break already. -Clayton

How much for all the parts? I need to do this or just have a trailer built.

I was able to reuse some of the parts.
The equalizer and bushings were the worst. Might tear it down and see what parts are reuseable if looking to save some money. if not going back all new would be easier.
Some times the U bolts have to be cut off.
    Good luck.

Got all my parts in yesterday. Was very easy with all new parts. Only took maybe an hour. Doesn't seem to squeak anymore. I'm pleased, and trailer parts superstore was really good to deal with.

I am glad you got it fixed. Mine was doing the samething. The equalizer holes were waddled out and causing lots of noise, clanks, etc..
