Point 1 question

Is it beneficial to have the point 1 at the Bow or the back of the boat?

The best place for it is somewhere free from magnetic interference... That said most will suggest that having a GPS antenna near your transducers might produce slightly more accuracy when creating waypoints (but we dont live in a perfect world). So you would use your bow units internal GPS since its already near transducers likely mounted to your trolling motor. Whereas your console mounted unit and any transducers mounted to your transom are farther apart, in a perfect world there could be some benefit to mounting the Point1 near them.
