Westwinds Motel in Clayton?

Hi All,

Thinking of heading to Clayton next week, doing a lot of research on fishing there. Has anyone stayed at Westwinds? And, are there public ramps in/clear Clayton?

It’s a decent motel and allows power hookups for boats. It’s close to town so you have the food options but far enough you don’t have too much traffic. You’re right near French creek marina so you could launch there or head towards cape Vincent and use the public launch on Rt 12E. Just an FYI there’s a costa event going on next weekend but I think it’s out of Massena this time

thanks ECobb91! yes, the FLW herd is outta of Massena. I can stalk some of them if they come down river, it will help me to find some spots!

That is where we stay and you can park your rig across from the rooms on the grass and stay hooked up. Nice people there.
