Its not super nice, but I have stayed at the relax inn in Kuttawa for years and never had any problems. Boat parking and plug ins are good.

Bel air motel. Rt. 641 just south of Ky. Dam Marina. Decent, reasonable, lots of tourney fishermen stay there.(American owned)

I’ve stayed at Relax inn for years. Park your boat right in front of your room. Plenty of hookups. 1/2 mile from gas stations. 2 miles to kuttawa ramp & about 6 miles from KY Dam marina. Nice people there too

    How was the fishing?

Fishing wasn't too good, I caught around 7-8 bass. Biggest was 19.25 inch, I didn't bring my scale but I think it should be around 4 lbs and the other rest were 16 inch and under. I never fished Kentucky lake so it was tough for me.

I've stayed in Barkley motel wasn't fancy but all nice people. I'd say the fishing is crap considering the bfl only had few limits caught again. Poor lake is miserable now

Been staying at Barkley dam motel for 15+ years. Great boat parking plenty of plug in’s for charging your batteries. Bruce is a great guy. For a place to stay that is fisherman friendly you can’t beat Barkley dam motel. IMO.
