    Lake Kerr

    Any tips on lake Kerr in Ocala?? It’s up about 5 foot from normal and we are down for a week. Hope to catch a few

    fished it once years ago with Florida Ed ( miss ya buddy ) caught them off the docks right of the launch. He wanted to find a small outlet that led to a small cove about 11 o'clock from the launch but we never did. Good luck.

    Trick worms, flukes, small crankbaits, jerkbaits, shakey heads, etc. any thing that works in gin clear water works there!

    Also, best to fish in the windy side and wind blown points, Do not fish the calm side.

    Weightless watermelon red finesse on 8# flouro, long cast and let it sink. Try the north side of the island, and the fish attractor on west side of island to get started. Kerr is loaded with 10"-12" fish and then a rare good one.

    On the South shore of the Island there is a 5 ft line and most of the time there is grass there, swimbait on light weight, weightless Fluke, Fluke Stick and Black Trick worm and drop-Shot around the brush pile in the South side if the Island...
