Just wondering
Just wondering
I looked at the NCWRC site this morning and did not see any reports. I know one of the rivers I fish the water level was 17' above normal. It is starting to fall fast and if it pulls enough dead organic matter out of the lowlands there could be a probability of a fish kill. I am hoping that is not going to be the case this time.

I talked to a guy that went to Roanoke last Saturday,he said he didn’t see any dead fish but the fishing itself was dead.
I will be fishing a tournament next weekend on the Tar I will let you all know how the club does.

No,not all stations have a DO meter. Hwy 45 is the only one on Roanoke that does.
Jamesville has a D.O. graph. The lowest it fell there was 2 and up to 3.5 now. Hopefully it won't be bad.

A friend of mine talked to Chad Thomas, he assured him that all of the rivers were in good shape. There were some rivers and creeks that had lower DO but nothing bad. He was sending him a list of places and the DO in those places!
