    G3 Maps, can't use them

I have a 7608xsv. I've downloaded the regular G3 maps to an SD card via Garmin Express. That part went ok. When I put the card in my unit I have the option of updating the internal maps. When I try to do that i get an error that says there in insufficient internal storage. I've found no other way to use these maps.

Did I just waste $100 on maps I can't use?

That's another issue. The unit sees the maps on the card, at least when trying to update the internal maps. But, when trying to change the mapping source when looking at nav chart the G3 maps are not listed.

Hard to tell. When I go to chart selection I have LakeVu HD and Bluechart G2 as options.

Did you accidentally buy the lakevu HD maps instead of the G3 ultra maps?
