    Grand Lake Camping

I'm going to be headed to Grand for the BFL regional in October. I was wondering if anybody had some recommendations for the best place to camp while there. I have a 30ft travel trailer that I'm thinking of bringing.

Also, any general info on what to expect for fishing late October?

Are you putting in at wolf creek? There are a few RV parks close by, don't know the name. There is a decent RV park in the back of drowning creek which is the south end of the lake, its called wildwood rv park, its about a 20 minute drive by car to wolf creek, about a 45 minute dive by boat @ 50 mph.

I stayed at a nice campground just down the highway from Wolf Creek but it’s been a couple of years ago. I’ll try and find the name of it.

How do you guys camp and trailer your boats? Are you pulling two trailers-camper and boat?
i saw a friend’s 350 and 10 1/2 bed camper and thought launching a boat on a steep ramp could be some bit of trouble.
Maybe I am concerned over nothing.

We pull tandem f250 with 37’ fifth wheel and 21’ Skeeter. Always stay at honey creek state park. It’s a great mid lake location, food within a mile or two and wolf is like 7 minutes....
