    2012 SHO wont turn over

Cruising down the lake about 45-50 mph engine made a "sneeze" type sound & just died. Now it wont spin over. Any idea what might have happened? 477hrs on engine. 2012 200sho

Pull the plugs and see how they look then a compression check before going further

Won’t turn over or won’t start? Two very different scenarios.

As stated....wont turn over. Hit the starter and it engages but wont spin over. Like somethings locked up.

I'm certainly no expert, but it sounds like the motor locked up or the lower unit. I would get it to your dealer asap.

    Good luck!

Bobby, drop the lower unit then see if it will spin. If not it will probably be UGLY. Hopefully the lower unit locked up. CJ

Update: Lower unit was locked up. Prop would spin fine in neutral so I didn't think much of it. Dealer dropped it and hit the key....it fired right up. Not sure about the lower unit as I changed the oil in it in May and the dealer said it was empty, no oil. No idea how that happened as there is no oil on the concrete in my garage. And I use my boat every weekend.
Needless to say, Im a happy camper. Thanks for the replies guys!
