Not your ordinary cold start issue
I have an Evinrude V4 115 that has no problems starting cold at the ramp. My issue is later in the day it has difficulty starting and yesterday would not start at all. It seems like this problem is worse the hotter the day is as in summertime it is worse. When it wont start, I check the bulb and of course it has lost a little pressure so I pump it up. I feel like then it acts like it is flooded? I have read in the forums about starting issues related to trim position and this may be my issue as well. I fish many shallow stumpy lakes and am in a habit of trimming the motor up after I have reached my spot and shut it off. Anybody else experience this problem?
