No, will be plug and play you will need to prime the oil pump and I'd set it to Breakin mode.

You'll need Evinrude diagnostics to set to break in and you squeeze the hell out of the oil tank primer bulb to make sure all the oil lines are full of oil. If unsure have a dealership perform the task for you.

this is a later installation guide but it should help you with the initial rigging. As was mentioned, have a dealer check over everything, prime the oil system, and do the startup of the motor and final adjustments for you
