You will have to shovel so many BIG BUGS that you wont want to live here so do us both a favor and stay in MN! If you do decide to be part of and add to the overcrowd problem go all the way to Okeechobee and join the rest of your kind down there. One thing... they are called specs, not crrrrrrrapppie!

Yes you can get from Kissimmee to the ocean. Have to get going as fast as you can and head east in the canal south of the boat ramp in Cypress. Go over the spill way and keep on keeping on.

Too many of yall beep beep down here. Last thing we need is another damn vehicle adding to the jacked up mess yall have created. Remember no such thing as CRRRRRAPIEEEE's down here. That's what you do when you see a license plate that says MN OH NY.

Yes, Jacksonville is pretty dag gum close to Ga. Outside of the GA Bulldogs i'd have to say Ga is a whole lot nicer than yankee laden South Florida. Yall sum bitches have ruined from coco bch south. Also Jacksonville is close to Gods country... Gainesville, home of the Orange and Blue. Also mouth of the St Johns River. History lesson #1 for yall transplants.

If it makes you feel any better I'm taking a promotion and replacing someone who left Florida, so I'm not adding to the population :)

Why the obsession over what you like to call crappie? Will you also demand I call bluegills brim? Get over it imo. People use different names for things based on where they're from, not where they are.

There are no brooks, cricks, creaks, or streams in Florida. We have a few rivers and tons of canals.

Yes for sure born a Yankee, Born and raised in Michigan. Played in that stuff for the first 18 years of my life. Hunting, Fishing and Trapping. Been in Florida for I guess 32 of my 50 years now. Hogzilla That is why included the canals sir.
And by the way creaks are something your old bones do or loose stairs do, Creeks are flowing bodies of water.

Everything not a lake or pond is a canal! And I stand firm on my ignorance as a native Floridian!

I signed my offer letter this week! I think I'll end up near West Palm Beach because I can't be too far from Miami... plus big O is nice and close.

I gotta sell my house and get a place down there by jan 1.

Is Wellington a decent place? I'll be making a house hunting trip soon.

If your company isn't providing relocation services you should contact a good Realtor in the area you want to live in. He/she will be glad to orient you with the area, check out possible neighborhoods, and show you homes that meet your needs. Notice i said a "good" Realtor. You should interview several by phone and email until you find one you're comfortable with and who has the experience to do a thorough job. Your cost for his/her services? Zero.

I would advise you look in the Davie, west Broward area if you have to commute to Miami . You will move back north if you have to do that. lol

Wellington is a really good area, and the location is good for entertainment. Mall/stores/food/etc. you can get to any part of the big “O” in about an hour or closest ramp in bell glade in 30-40 min.. I live within 2 miles of Wellington. And the beach is 15-30 min. The other way.
