Good for you! My new TRX189 came in 11 weeks so maybe yours won't be any longer than that.

Was definitely best for me at 2.5” ptp. You will need to put solid PVS plugs in and still feather the gas a bit on hole shot to keep RPMs down. I would start about 3.5 ptp until you get a little time on it and then start going up on jack plate. I also picked up a 23 Tempest Plus for when things cool down and early spring.

Looking forward to hearing your results compared to mine.

Im looking forward to comparing to yours as well. I plan are just putting solid plugs in from the start seems to be how all these 4 strokes are running now. Do you have a hydraulic jack plate? I figure with the atlas i ordered i can adjust that on the fly and maybe keep the holeshot from blowing out so easy?

No I have the manual. The hydraulic will help you a lot in regard to overspin when it breaks over on hole shot.
