v20 center rod storage

Only the top row of my V20's rod tubes will hold a rod over 6'6'' . the middle and bottom rows will only take a 6 foot rod.

anyone else have this issue?

Take your front graph plate out and you can see tubes. Wouldn't be hard to modify them.

My 191 is the same way and I'd like to get it corrected. My box on the port side won't hold long rods either.

there were rubber caps on the end of the tubes. I used a broom handle to push them off and now rods will fit. yes, the rod tips will be sticking out the end of the tubes. I assume I amy get some moisture in there as well but oh well
