Just wondering if anyone has ever put a 225 promax powerhead on a 2.5l 200 EFi mid and lower? what would be watch out and would I have to change cowlings? If it will even work thanks. Sorry my motor is 1996 200 efi mariner magnum serial number og350412.

Yes it will change over but u will need to use the adapter plates for the promax ,and either cowl will work I belive

Correct. Most of the Promax Adapter Plates were setup for the Alien-Style cowling.

may need to relocate trim relays also for pmax head
