Box lid foam

I am having to recarpet some of my Z20 box lids. Lacquer thinner is all that I know to use to get the carpet off. It is doing a number on the foam on the inside of the lids. Does anyone know where I can get replacement foam or something different instead of lacquer thinner?

Much ado about nothing. After the lacquer thinner evaporated the foam adhered to the insides of the lids.
