I've searched and read a bunch of posts and am still left with questions. Bear with me and answer if you can, please.
I'm raising my motor and want to reseal and re-torque. I have a Skeeter SX166 with Yamaha 90 2-stroke.

1. 4200 seems to be a good choice and most common reply on this board, regardless of boat or motor. That's what I'll use unless somebody here has compelling experience to the contrary.

2. How physically do you apply and cure the sealant? I know this sounds stupid to some, but there's a right way and a wrong way to do everything. I would like to do this the right way the first time!

3. What is the proper motor bolt torque for a Skeeter composite transom? I'm bolting the motor directly to the boat. I'm a little surprised at the variety of responses on the board regarding this and the wide variety of torques that folks here swear by. I just want to know if anybody knows the Skeeter spec or has experience with the right number.

Thank you all for helping!
