    Nmea vs tachometer ?

Which RPM reading would be more accurate ? The tachometer or the nmea 2000 reading on the Lowrance ?

I would trust NMEA. Your tach is analog, N2K is digital.

the NMEA shows about 300-350 less RPM's than the Tachometer.

Mine is 400 rpms off. Tach shows 6000 graph shows 5600. I am trusting the nmea 2000. I've never hit the rev limiter which would be 6200 and have had the nmea up to 58-5900 a few times.

Direct connect to the ECU or NMEA will be more accurate. Digital vs. analog! I have a Yamaha Command Link, it is 300/400 rpm less than the analog at WOT!

    Thanks everyone.
Are you all running the digital up to 6k at WOT?
