    Shouldnt this be in some of the other aluminum forums that has cracking welds?

    They have been selling these type of rods at fairs for years. They do work 'sort of' but are no replacement for a good welder.

    I put it over in Tin Boats forum, We could use them for filling in transducer bracket holes.
