    115HP Suzuki motor question

    Thinking about buying a 2014 boat with a 115 Suzuki motor. The mid-section of the motor has some stain or corrosion on it. Anyone know what this is or ever seen it before?AD1E8794-62B1-4005-B71C-6B6553636E31.png

    That looks like they have seen a LOT of sun/weathering. Which contrasts greatly with the appearance of the rest of the engine.

    Something strange has been going on there IMO.

    I like that theory, or perhaps someone sanded or buffed that section. Is it a DF or DT motor?

    At least pull the top cover and inspect the inside stuff.
